1. Introduction

By accessing and using Money Owl's services, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

Your agreement with us includes these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") and starts from the date of your first use of Money Owl.

3. Subscriptions

Money Owl offers three subscription tiers:

• Free: Basic features including manual transaction categorization, price updates, multi-currency support, and financial event planner.
• Basic: €60 per year or €8 per month. Includes bank integrations, AI-powered transaction categorization, ETF allocation optimizer, financial health metrics, and email support.
• Premium: €90 per year or €12 per month. Includes all Basic features plus AI chat assistant, AI reporting companion, and priority customer support.

5. Affiliate Program

Our affiliate program operates under the following terms:

• Affiliates earn 50% commission on referred users' subscription payments for the first 12 months.
• Commissions are paid 60 days after the referred user's payment to protect against refunds and chargebacks.
• For annual subscriptions, commissions are paid in monthly installments over the 12-month period.
• Minimum payout threshold is €50.
• We reserve the right to terminate affiliate relationships for any violations of these terms or fraudulent activities.
• Affiliate links must be clearly disclosed as such in any promotional materials.
• Affiliates are independent contractors and not employees or agents of Money Owl.

6. Payment and Billing

Payments for Basic and Premium plans are processed through Stripe (via BuzzCrafter UK company). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Free plan users can continue using the service with limited features. Refunds are provided at our discretion:

• Basic Plan: If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and have not extensively used the services, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
• Premium Plan: Due to the costs incurred from third-party AI services, if you have utilized any AI features or credits, refunds may be limited or not available.

8. Use of AI Services

Our Premium plan includes AI-powered features which may process your data through AI Groq and OpenAI for transaction categorization and user prompt questions.

9. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for how they utilize the content and insights provided through Money Owl's services.

10. Disclaimer

Money Owl provides its services "as is" and does not guarantee that the services will meet your specific needs or be available uninterrupted or error-free. We expressly disclaim all warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

Money Owl's liability for any claim arising out of this agreement shall be limited to the amount you paid for the services. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement and your use of Money Owl's services are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
